About Me

The short version
I'm a Belgian-born software engineer living in Edinburgh, Scotland. I've spent the last decade at Rockstar Games, where I lead a small team building the backend services and developer tools that help ship ambitious open-world games. My day-to-day is mostly C#, WPF, and Docker — turning complex problems into reliable, well-tested solutions.
How I got here
I studied Electromechanics in Geel, Belgium — not the most obvious start for a software career, but it gave me a solid engineering mindset and a knack for understanding how systems fit together. After a few years building industrial automation software in Belgium, I relocated to Edinburgh and joined Rockstar Games. What started as a tools programming role has grown into a technical leadership position over the years. Along the way, I've had the privilege of contributing to Red Dead Redemption 2 and the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI.
Beyond the code
When I'm not at work, you'll usually find me gaming, tinkering with tech projects at home (this site runs on my self-hosted infrastructure), or watching movies. I enjoy staying hands-on with new technologies — whether that's experimenting with Blazor, setting up Docker containers, or just finding better ways to automate the things around me.
